Woodland Park Zoo Insect House

    Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle opened "Bug World" in 1997, and it is a small building that has 12 exhibits, along with a viewing window near the exit with an additional 8 tanks of creepy crawlies.

    The 12 exhibits (in order) as of April 10th, 2011:

    Cross orbweaver spider/sowbug/millipede
    American cockroach
    Western black widow/darkling beetle
    Green lynx spider/desert hairy scorpion
    Sunburst diving beetle/giant water bug
    White-eyed assassin bug
    Polyphemus flower beetle/flamboyant flower beetle
    Goliath birdeater tarantula
    Golden orbweaver spider
    Peruvian jumping stick/Peruvian fire stick
    Pacific dampwood termite
    Red swamp crayfish
