Juno was shipped to the Nashville Zoo on November 3rd and Rosie followed on the 5th. Both made the trip just fine and are settling in their new facility well.

    From the zoos facebook page
"There is a great deal of animal transfers happening at the Zoo; including our Red Wolf. Our current male is heading to Chattanooga to be matched up with a female. This will leave the exhibit here empty for awhile, but never fear - a breeding pair is coming to our zoo soon!"

Sorry TigerValley. I was just using Facebook as a means of finding out zoo events that have happened since jusko posted about the red wolves, and must have gotten mixed up about the orangutans.

I just saw this article and looked a photos of the zoo in the gallery. For animals to be relocated I hope the orangs, other apes, and monkeys get another home!
