Thank you so much for your well-organized list, I visited this fine aquarium in 2009 but did not note all the species so I enjoyed seeing this reminder. At the time, the Dangerous and Deadly section was followed by Turtle Town, Ohio Riverbank, and Gator Bayou sections; have these been combined and renamed Gator Alley to accomodate that impressive lineup? I only remember American alligator at the time.

My pleasure! I took a picture of almost every single sign. The Turtle Town, Ohio Riverbank, and Gator Bayou have all been combined. Small crocodilians filled in the TT tanks, Mighty Mike lives in the Riverbank, and Orinoco crocodiles live in the Bayou.

Well the crested porcupines don't seem to be there anymore, there is no longer a sign for them. Obviously I visited today and it was magnificent! While definitely not the best aquarium out there, it's one that I and my Mother both certainly enjoyed! I found it funny that there are no more alligators left in Gator Alley! The American Alligator exhibit now holds a Nile Crocodile and no species of alligator can be found within the aquarium anymore it seems. Pictures up soon, I hope! The hotel doesn't have great internet so I may not get to posting until after I return home!

Glad you had fun! There was never actually a sign for the porcupines, just the otters.

Oh, well the otters were on exhibit, too, so I figured. And thanks! It was a lot larger than I remember you describing it to me as but that was a very pleasant surprise. Oh and, as you'll see soon, I can identify some of the species you couldn't last time you went now since signs have been added to some of the exhibits.
