Great Museums: Smithsonian National Zoo: Wild Thing! My favorite quote was from a staffer who said (something like) You should feel uncomfortable when you see animals in the zoo. Their plight in the wild is so bad that the only hope for saving them is to maintain them in zoos |

I was just looking at my tv listings and it shows that it aired in Los Angeles in Oct. 9, and I haven't found any other days, so I guess I missed it.
