Haven't found a thread to put any news from Staten Island on, so thought I'd make my own! Recently, new species that have arrived include: a Black and Rufous Elephant Shrew (Rhynchocyon petersi) a 2 year old Female Klipspringer from Brookfield Zoo - Baby Antelope Makes Debut At Staten Island Zoo

According to their Facebook, a new Madagascar Giant Day Gecko and False Tomato Frog exhibit has opened in the African Savannah.
A little late but how is the Black and Rufous Elephant Shrew doing and do they have only one or more specimens ( in Europe we only have them at Rotterdam Zoo - the Netherlands )
A new Cattle Egret named (sigh) Justin Biebgret is now on exhibit in the Tropical Forest. A sloth named CC will now be on exhibit in the Nursery from 11 to 12 and 3 to 4 daily.
