Has anyone been to the Phillips Park Zoo, Cosley Zoo, or Indian Boundary Park in Chicago? Mainly the Philips Park Zoo. Their Wikipedia artcile says they have three-toed sloths and Tasmanian devils, so that isn't a reliable source.

It also says they have Northern White Rhinos, Mountain Gorillas, Aye-Aye, Orcas, and Asian Lions. Somehow I seriously doubt this.

The exhibits list for Phillips Park Zoo on Wikipedia is completely incorrect as it is a tiny zoo. According to a map I have saved on my computer they have:

    River otter
    Fox
    Cougar
    Llama
    Grey wolf
    African pygmy goat
    Ducks, geese and swans
    Bald eagle
10 species of reptile and a variety of smaller animals
    Peafowl
    Elk

I had no idea Chicago had any zoos besides Brookfield and Lincoln Park.

And Shedd Aquarium. But then I don't think anyone has ever heard of these zoos outside of their respective neighbourhoods...

My brother used to live in Aurora. Illinois and it is in what chicagoans call the outer boonies. About an hour and a half from downtown, depending on weather or traffic conditions. He never mentioned this zoo.

I was actually looking into a vacation to Chicago, and saw these three zoos mentioned on the Lincoln Park Zoo's website. It doesn't look like they'd be worth going to though...

I have been going to the Chicagoland Zoos since I was 5 years old and have never heard of these Zoos. However Chicago's major Zoos make a great vacation. You could easily spend two days at Brookfield,a day at Shedd and most of a day at Lincoln Park and if thats not enough Milwaukee is only 50 minutes away depending on traffic if you have any questions about any of these Zoos let me know I know them well.

Someone has now updated the exhibits information on the Phillips Park Zoo wikipedia so I guess this is confirmation that they don't in fact have mountain gorillas, northern white rhino or aye aye ;)
