      Ahh, when I was uploading I couldn't remember whether they were usually called barbary goats or barbary sheep.

      And these are true Barbary sheep with wild origin/genes and not the mixed up - most - European herds!

      It would really help if more European zoos would actually make an effort to breed some of the quite endangered taxa - they are to be had - as hunting and so is absolutely rife and out of control in major parts of North Africa.
