Indian Rhinos always seem much calmer than the African species, but I don't know if a wild one would be as calm as this one?

the town is Hetuada just outside Chitwan. I think this video is from 2015 when a rhino wandered in from the park. Most videos show the more volatile follow-up where the rhino was harrassed into aggressiveness by people in vehicles, and ended up charging through a hospital, killing one woman and injuring several others. Only a few videos show the intial period like this one where the rhino is just ambling along window-shopping. The rhino was herded back to the park safely.

My mother used to tell me stories about wild rhinos from Chitwan National Park going into the nearby villages to eat potatoes. The rhino would let people pet it while munching on them potatoes.
