There are actually three Taman Safari Indonesia There is the one I describe here which is located not so far from Jakarta, another to the south of the country near Surabaya and the third which is located on Bali. The Bali collection is more popularily known as Bali Marine and Safari Park. The Jakarta collection is quite close to Bogor which is an interesting little town in itself. You really do need to stay in the area to visit the park.
