As well as the two brown bears from mogo Cairns will soon be welcoming (or may have already welcomed two servals from Mogo to be housed in a new glass fronted enclosure at the cafe.

How many other zoos around Australia keep servals. And am i right that these servals came to mogo from the same place as the white lions.

Good photos. . . Has the zoo got Hari Back yet or will he be staying at Perth for a while?

The zoo has a dining experience with the lions and is opening a bar, moving along very fast. Can't Imagine what it must look like now compared to early 2006

HI, can anyone share some information on the history of Cairns wildlife safari park?

Who owns it. when first opened, attendance?

Would be very appreciated.

Big Cat would probably be a bit better at this but a brief background can be found by searching for mareeba wild animal park (it's original name). . . there should be plenty out there. Basically the park was built by a pom, opened, had some troubles, went into liquidation and was bought by locals and is run by then. Not sure about current attendance

Just noted that Cairns Wildlife Safari Reserve has been admitted as a Provisional Institutional member of ARAZPA.

Congratulations to Jenny and Paul and all the team up there!
