Are the colobus monkeys kept off exhibit? I've now heard about spotted hyenas, colobus monkeys and ring-tailed lemurs at Monarto Zoo, but none of those trio of species were able to be seen as of June 2007.

From September last year two spotted hyenas were on exhibit. Just an idea, I think they should make exhibits next to the chimpanzees for the colobus and the lemurs should be put somewhere else because most people I know love different species of monkeys and lemurs and would love to see them. That was just an idea.

I looked on ISIS last night and it stated that there were three females at Monarto and 1 male at Adelaide. So that makes me think that the females have only recently arrived at Monarto and were pregnant when they arrived.

I also just checked isis and it said that Adelaide had 1 male and 1 female (came from different areas) and monarto has a male and two females (the male is from a different area) plus the two babies.

Well either I had checked it wrong or it has been updated. Now I would love to get an idea of the family tree for this species within Australia

I think it was updated the other day. Also if anyone has links to Australia's colobus monkey tree can you please provide a link, because that would be cool.

This is all the info I have.
A female called Clover, that was born at Melbourne Zoo, gave birth to a baby on Jan 9 2006. This was at Melbourne. The father came from Perth
