which is why ARAZPA, our peak governing body here in Australasia opposed the breeding program in the first place. if this forum is still around in ten years-2017, ill bet there are still no more than 10 indian rhinos in the country.

no doubt your right glyn - but how much do you wanna make a bet in ten years time there are but just a couple of additional elephants? or tapirs.. etc..

with the vast majority of animals in zoos, not a lot seems to happen in 10 years. they just get older!!

a seven year old female indian rhino was imported pregneent from san diego, shes a young one as well, she gave birth yesterday!
