I've gotten your Pm & will call you in the next couple of days.
Just for those looking on,who may be interested hoggies can be bought for a lot less than quoted,if you haggle & if you want more than just a few young stags & hinds.There are several breeders in Vic who will have too many at the moment, & it's comming into winter (feed bills!).
They have specific requirements (good cover) but if you get it right,& they're happy they'll be less trouble than blackbuck & breed as easily as chital (they do hybridise with chital in captivity so keep this in mind too).
Only buy from those with good yards & were the deer are trained & used to them,unless you've a good vet to administer a LAN (PCM is a major issue with capture & transport).
Hog deer, as Monty has said, seem just as susceptible to MCF as blackbuck & the majority of Asiatics.
