Dreamworld is deeply saddened to communicate the passing of much loved 17 year old, white Bengal tiger, Mohan this week, following a battle with kidney disease. The eldest member of the Tiger Island Family, a charmer and King of the Island, he will be deeply missed.

To Patrick and all the Tiger Island crew, past and present, please accept our condolences.

The mighty Mo was the biggest and wussiest tiger that has ever sat on my feet!

He was truly one of a kind in this country.

RIP Mohan. Steve and Steph.

I usually don't remember animals by their names, but hearing Mohan I do remember this beautiful creature from seeing him so many years ago.

Having been fortunate to have worked with Mohan for seventeen years he will be greatly be missed by not only the handlers that had the opportunity to work with him over the years but also to people that had chance to see him at Dreamworld and those that had 'encounters' with him on his walks or during a photo session.

His activities helped raise a great deal of funding for in-situ conservation and he spent so much time on so many television shows, newspapers, and magazines over the years he certainly helped get a conservation message to the wider public.

He will be greatly missed by many.
