I think I have you on the myspace I manage Wildatart, for the Australasian Primate Society.

You do Jo. I think I've sent my images on comments in the past. How is the society going? I'd like to know more if I could as I run a wildlife art network who like to help with fundraising for worthy causes.

The girl I posted the link to earlier donates to conservation charities, I suggested the Congo Rangers and she has sold pictures to raise money for them. The rest of this year I am flat out, but next year I want to get stuck into it again. We are gearing up for Jane Goodalls next visit later in the year, and sorting out the next conference.

There is good news for the other cubs, Taronga zoo's female cub, Jumilah will meet with Satu.

"Friends of the Zoos" or FOTZ in Melbourne has an annual art show which is held in Discovery and Learning at Zoo each year. It includes everything from birthday cards and aprons to full sized paintings, drawings and photgraphs and all items are for sale.

You might like to exhibit some of your work here. You can call FOTZ via Melbourne Zoo for more information. I'm sure there are heaps of people who would love to see your work.

Last year I purchased a fantastic kingfisher drawn in pastel (it's quite large) as well as gorgeous pastel drawing of Ramalon (Nakal's father).

Funnily enough I'm not a member of FOTZ. I used to be but then I started donating money direct to Zoos Victoria and felt that I didn't need to double dip. I'd love to put work in the FOTZ show but we'll see how I go about not being a member.

At the moment I've got something cooking over in South Australia with Monarto that will come to light shortly. Check out my site for more details....

Many people here are from Melbourne, hmm, I am a Junior FOTZ I got to the zoo about every month, I don't regularly donate money though unfortunately, I don't get allowance and too young to get a job.
Melbourne I think has a very cosy zoo, I usually spend two hours or so at the Trail of the elephants, many randomn people ask me randomn stuff. Last time I went many people asked me to translate something, mainly perhaps I'm a an asian boy who is at the zoo by himself, I'm quite sure,
