Photos from Australian Reptile Park - Gosford
Old 05-01-2008

I've uploaded some of my photos from the Australian Reptile Park in Gosford, taken back in March 1999. This was before the park burnt down (it has subsequently been rebuilt).

I still remember those Tasmanian Devil's vividly - the female in the next enclosure was in heat and the male spent all his time running around making a horrendous noise - just the way you imagine "Tas" to be!

The keepers were feeding them very carefully with tongs and using a leaf rake as a shield to keep the animals from attacking their legs.

One of the other keepers showed us her scratched legs from where one of the Tasmanian Devils got through - vicious little things!
