Yep, that's what I mean.
The next stage in the breeding program for whites would be the next generation. It will be interesting to see which youngsters will be mated with each other. A possible pairing could be Tamu, the female calf born at Perth in 2002 and Ganini the male born at Werribee in 2002. This can't happen for a few years yet obviously. |

Does anyone know the age that female rhinos can ( or perhaps should) start breeding?

I have heard they can breed as young as 3-5

Ben, from what i have read white rhino females give birth to their first calf around the age of 5 - 6 years old.
