Asahiyama Zoo is located in Asahikawa City; yes it might be a bit confusing. Two Amur tigers arrived at this zoo from the U.S. on 25 September 2014 - Zaria (female) from Denver Zoo, and Kyrill (male) from Hogle Zoo.
