it must be a translation thing, or maybe named after a Japanese person/character? On this page there a photo of one at Nogeyama Zoo: photos of kikuchi0927(????) - Photo365, photo every day
figured it out, via some messing around with Google Translate! I found an article mentioning one coming to a zoo which had been translated by Google into English. I got the original Japanese and put it into Google Translate (which obviously gave me the same "Avi senior colobus"). But the Japanese characters アビシニアコロブス when transcribed with English letters read "abishiniakorobusu". Google Translate still said this read "Avi senior colobus" but if you split it into two words - abishinia korobusu - the English translation magically becomes "Abyssinian colobus".
