I think the worst fact about the game was we had two strikers on that cost us more than £40million!!! and we couldn't score against a back for prob not even worth half that!

I fear playing the smaller teams as a liverpool fan, as if were going to get stuck against anyone its usually the smaller clubs.

PS. I dont mean offence but stoke are a small club in the premiership.

No, that's true, it's our first season back. £20 million for our back four, they didn't cost that much. Coates and Pulis have only spent £25 million altogether.

I'm pleased with the result, it's much better than I expected against one of the world's top teams.

On another day Liverpool will play far worse and win, and Stoke will play much better and lose.

My predictons are still on track, 4 points from 5 games, the points just aren't from the games I thought they would be from.

I give up predicting what Liverpool will do, I have no faith we can win the league if we cant win while dominating a game.

Our back 4 only cost approximately £6million yesterday

Griffin: £500,000
Faye: £2.5 million
Cort/Sonko: £1.5 million
Higginbotham: £1.5million

Stoke have now won twice as many games in the Prem as Derby did, and Stoke still have 30 games to go. I just wish I knew what they're doing at Hull, I though they were the worst team in the division but they've proved me wrong.

They have had an amazing start to the season! Am just as confused as you as to how they have managed it.

I do hate the media for going on about Hull being up there, the seasons only just start am sure they will tire towards the end.

Arsene Wenger thinks that the sending off of Van Persie was harsh. Maybe he ought to make sure his team understands the rules.

Still it's a great idea for Stoke to have the away team reduced to 9 men (Arsenal and Spurs). It gives them a better chance.

Just noticed this Zoogiraffe. Peter Coates, Tony Pulis and John Rudge are all friends with Sir Alex Ferguson. Obviously the same rule applies as at Old Trafford. The ref keeps going until the home team are winning.

Well isn`t it a small world, must say very surprised at how well Stoke are doing but when you turn throw ins into Corners or freekicks you are always going to increase your chances of a goal.

Peter Coates met Alex Ferguson when Aberdeen were the first football club to award a contract to Stadia Catering, then owned by Coates. They have remained good friends ever since.

I'm surprised at how well Stoke are doing. I never thought they would go down, but I looked at my predictions and I said they would have 8 points by now. They have 13. I'm even more surprised at how well Hull are doing.

It's Wigan on Saturday. Several years ago Stoke went to Wigan and lost 6-0. The following day my friend asked me what time Stoke kicked off last night, so I said 7.45 and she said, no, it was every 15 minutes.

Well at this stage of the season who would have thought that Stoke would nearly be safe and Middlesbourgh,Newcastle and Sunderland would all be deep in the ****,i think West Brom are already down, but it looks like going down to the wire.

Certainly is going right down to the wire. One of the most enjoyable season in a while. Any team from 12th down could still get relagated.

I think Hull are going down now, they started well and faded away. Stoke had their bad run in December/January when it didn't really matter. Back in August I predicted they would have 41 points. They have 35 with six games left. They may do better than I anticipated.

One thing which has surprised me is the standard of referring is not as bad as I expected.

Stoke had some real idiots in charge in the Championship, like the ref who awarded a penalty to Watford when Andrew Griffin fell on top of the ball. The ref said the penalty was awarded for a deliberate handball, and then said he thought the handball was accidental.

Another ref sent the same player off at QPR for a legitimate tackle. His resoning. I had to send the Stoke player off because I didn't see the incident. So, he shouldn't take any action. The sending off still occured despite the protests of the QPR player who had been tackled. The FA upheld Stoke's appeal.
