Just over a week away, and I pity the Stoke commentator next season, most of the new players seem to have names that are unpronounceable.

I predict Chelsea to be champions, they have bought Asmir Begovic from Stoke, a proven goalscorer. :D

In second place I'll have Arsenal and 3rd Manchester City.

    For relegation
    18th. Swansea
    19th. Sunderland
    20th. Bournemouth

I'm a Liverpool Fan but I feel Arsenal have a big chance of winning the league this year, especially after beating Chelsea in the community shield. I don't think Bournemouth will get relegated! They were very good in the championship and have signed a few good players. Swansea will definitely not be relegated.

    1st. Arsenal
    2nd. Chelsea
    3rd. Man United
    4th. Man City
    5th. Liverpool (Very optimistic)
    6th .Southampton

    Got to agree.

In fact I'd wager you (or anyone who cares!) 'A Chester Zoo burger' that Swansea finish top half...?

Pootle, as long as Rodgers doesn't play benteke as a wing back we will be fine.

I'm glad Taun enjoyed the game. It was at the ground where Mr Gerrard made his last ever Premier League appearance. I'm sure Steven Gerrard won't forget it.:D

It's the third year in a row that Stoke has lost the first fixture by one goal to nil. Mark Hughes always starts off slowly. Still, at least we are highher than Arsenal. :p

Well it is only half time and i'm thoroughly annoyed once again with the referee. I'm not going to say anything, the Football Assiciation will only punish me.

I didn't notice it when watching the game live, but after seeing it again it is a bit strange. Maybe he placed a bet :)

On the other hand did anyone see Mourinho's interview after the liverpool game. I don't think he wanted to comment. Someone's close to getting sacked!:D

I love commentators. When Watford came to Stoke they hit the bar , then hit the bar again when the rebound came to one of their forwards.

The commentator siad "Watford could be two-nil up. " Obviously a new rule is in effect whereby the team who scores keep going until they score again.:D

benosaurus, pootle, Jackwow and Chatt Wolf's prediction of Leicester finishing either 19th or 20th seem to have been a bit off. JAMIE VARDY FOR TOP GOAL SCORER!!!!!
