The Supernatural
Old 26-06-2008

Hello,
Many people say intelligent people shouldn't believe in ghosts and such. And there are many very smart people here.

I personally belive in these kinds of things ( my family has had encounters with the non-living gods, ghosts)
Plus I've also had an encounter which I believe is a ghost.

Please feel absoulotely free to post encounters thoughts and stories.

I certainly believe in ghosts. My family has an old holiday house which we believe is to be haunted. Many strange things have happened there, the most common is footsteps in the hallway. i myself have heard them and there is no other thing they could possibly be. I believe its a child, about 10 years of age.

Also i work in Childcare and where i work is haunted by a child that died a few years back, people often hear crying when all the children have gone home i have never heard it though.

Thanks, I have a personal experince myself,

Two years ago I had to do an anniversery event to my Grandmother who passed away, it was in Malaysia, Kuching
We burned "God-money" and I was pretty bored so one of my uncles asked me to take one of the burning rods back to the temple. It was day the Cemertery was on a hill and was filled with flowers. You would need to get around in a car.

I was walking for 30 minutes until a woman appeared in front of me, I blunk hard and she dissapeared.

Soon after she appeared again and started to laugh I dropped the rod. And moved somewhat jerkingly towards it to pick it up and I picked it up. But I burnt myself with it, I felt the pain but I would budge.

Until someone spun me around, it was my Uncle and we walked to together towards the Temple. I turned around and she was gone,

My family has had a history with Sixth senses,
Ever since that event I have had dreams of Murder reports (not the actual murder) and when I google the name on the net they are actually someone who died in the past,

My mum has, kind of:
She has a photo of her late dad on top of a cabinet, and she always puts flowers next to the photo as she doesn't really like visiting his grave.
So the first christmas after his death, she put a vase of Poinsettias next to the photo.
These died within a day, so she did it again.
Same thing happened, and she went through 3 or 4 of these plants in a week.
The next week my nan offered her a Poinsettia plant which she had been given, as she refused to have them in the house because, before (and after evidently :-S) he died, my grandad really hated them...

That's no problem, ghosts are usually fuled by fear or anger, if you show fear than the ghost will feel it has dominece and so will be less violent ( really depending on the ghost) anger it drives the ghost to make you make you afraid, and so its best not to yell at it,

This I don't believe, if ghosts etc do exist then there's no way or reason why they would be violent towards humans.
They couldn't be lol
People should be more afraid of the living harming them

Behaviour of ghosts is strange, try searching up the series "a Haunting" it used to be on the Discovery channel, it will show you life experinces and shows sometimes motives,

Can you please explain what you mean a little bit more are you saying that there is no mtive or that paranormal things can't physically hurt us?

Well ghosts etc are just spirits.
How could a spirit or ghost do a human any harm? So yes, I am saying that ghosts (or spirits or whatever you want to call them lol) could not physically harm us.
And those tv shows like most haunted and that are amusing, but I highly doubt they're real to be honest. Not that I don't believe in anything paranormal, I just think that's made up for tv
