Groningen, The Netherlands (about an hour up north from Unt-Bwe).
Nearest Zoo is Emmen, hour bustrip single journey. My parents live in the eastern part of Holland which is within 2 hours of around 15 major zoo's

LOL. I'm living within one hour by train - I always take the train - to several zoos, and 1.5 hour from some other zoos.
Or one hour by bike to Wissel Zoo

I live in the beautiful city of Gent in Belgium. It has about 237.000 inhabitans and lies in de community of Flanders. It's also 60 km from Antwerp, so I'm quickly in the Antwerp Zoo (but not as fast as Hippo
 )
