I noticed today that the ZooChat group on Facebook now has 55 members, and so it has been nice to put the odd face to the postings here on this forum.

Hi, Im wanting to join the facebook group, but there are 2, one for zoobeat with members and zoochat with members? which one should i join?

Zoochat is the official group. The other was set up by a member here.

It doesnt really matter, I have yet to delete the "zoobeat" group because I find some of the posts on it useful...you can join whichever or both!

I see that there are now over 120 ZooChat members on the Facebook page, and I suppose that many individuals wish to remain anonymous due to the pressure from their respective zoo organizations. There are numerous zoo fans on this site, but also a number of zoo keepers and others who work with zoo-related establishments.

I am on Facebook; Paul D Murphy; Manchester.
Annoys me as I live in Chester which is 50 miles to the south of Manchester ! I am struggling to match zoochat names against some of the pictures ! Appropriately my picture is of me hunched over a keyboard !
