    Not too sure if I could be enthusiastic here.

    Really, most Indian zoos need to clean up their act and loose the bureaucracy and frequent changing of the guard before they can realistically be recognized as valuable members of the zoo conservation breeding cohort.

    You only have to look at the annuals to see very little conservation breeding takes place nor are managed programs operating (they are in a very tiny minority). Usually do zoo directors on a short 3-4 year term shout their interests through media for new animals, whilst neglecting the current stock and to manage their populations properly.
