Red panda "Lim" gave birth to twins this June. The little cuties will leave their den within the next days. They are sooo cute! :D

It's the zoo of the capital city of Upper Austria. Zoo Linz is member of OZO (Austrian zoo association), a very nice small zoo with about 600 animals in 110 species.

Judging by the latest map of the zoo, guanaco have replaced alpaca in the South American paddock and ring-tailed lemurs are now where lynx used to be.

A few days ago a 15-year old Nyala (Tragelaphus angasii) passed away, I am not sure whether this was the last Nyala at Zoo Linz.
Also 14-year old male meerkat Tilda was recently euthanised due to age related illnesses.
