The noise from the attack caught the attention of zookeepers nearby and they eventually managed to distract the tigers and rescue Nordin. "Keepers managed to separate the worker from the tiger. While waiting for the ambulance, our vets attended to him," said Guha. "The worker tragically succumbed to his wound." Singapore's Straits Times newspaper said on its website that Nordin was seen behaving in an agitated manner before he fell into the moat. Terrified visitors near the section watched the vicious attack in horror and screamed, the paper said. |

Yes, djaeon, this is the type of accident that no zoo should be required to avoid with safety measures. If a madman decides to jump into a tiger enclosure he gets mauled or killed. As simple as that.

same week , one animal cleaner in Junsele Djurpark , Sweden, been atackt of a White Bengal Tiger.

That is very sad news, I'm sure the cleaner didn't deserve this on any page, I saw Omar, winnie and Jippie last year in April when I went to go see my cousins, they looked so magnificent, but as they say looks can be deceiving.
