Hello all,

I'm new here and I like to introduce meyself because it seems a nice zooforum.

Mine real name is Matthias, 17 years old and I live in Deurne, a place close by the Antwerp city. Some people know me from other forums like the Laafse Kikkers.

My home-zoo is the Antwerp Zoo, only 15 minutes from mine house.

The favorite zoos I've seen are the Berlin Zoo and the Zoo of Koln.

I have already a question - assuring you are not only visiting Antwerp Zoo regularly but also Plankendahl, can you tell me if the construction work (or at least preparations for that) for the new elephant enclosure has started?

No, there isn't any construction work yet. When it starts, I don't know, but Gorila Gust will know it better I think .

And yes, there is nothing started for the elephants in Mechelen yet.
They plan to start around 2010-2011 at the moment.
