Hello,
I was looking through the internet for this and that when I stumbled across a number of postings about the zoo Sleepy Hollow. I would like to state that with a few facts being correct most of what was posted was incorrect. Unfortuanatly time, grapevines and deliberate inacuracies change what really happened and the truth behind a place that was highly regarded by so many that fell victim to it's own success and the might of local law. Sleepy Hollow has a thousand lovely memories about animals and people and how they connect. With the deepest sadness Sleepy hollow was outted by a tiny minority of people who had personal reasons to achieve it's demise, such as competitors, activists and second home owners in a Cotswold village. I love to hear what people say of it now, though quite often it greeves me when what is said is so far from the truth. I know all this because of the name I chose for entering this site 'Shikar'. He was a great friend and my first tiger........ |

have no info on sleep hollow, but welcome to the forum Shikar. Do you mind telling me more about shikar and what was he like? subspecies?

welcome to zoochat. Do you have any pictures of Sleepy Hollow you could upload to the site? A recent request for information only came up with a few photos that didnt really show much of the site.
I sadly never got to visit the park |
