No, There is no guide book yet, which is a bit frustrating. I assume they are wating till the whole parc is finished. There are signs all around the parc naming the animals and giving details of habitat, lifestyle etc.

So, what's next for Bioparc?? I've heard that they are getting penguins from Odense Zoo in Denmark... Tell me more about Bioparc's future, please?

I also wondered about this. Odense Zoo says that they will be sending 15 of their gentoo penguins to Bioparc Valencia. Surely this must be part of the Bioparc's South American theme?

Their newsletter specifically says Bioparc Valencia. They also refer to it as "the brand new zoo of Spain in Valencia".

I Was in bioparc Wednesday, the only guidebook available is the Fuengirola zoo (remember two zoos are managed for the same company) i see drills climbing to the artificial trees of his installation,I see a curious thing too, the chimps are feeding in the sun ,but the food are available in the shade zone, they take the food but they went at the sun zone for to eat it (two things never seen before,I go 12 times or so) but i don't never see any enclosure for penguins...they are training a lot of birds for shows , hornbills, owls, vultures and more...i upload a lot of pics Saturday or Sunday EU time. The South America and Asia extensions are planed but not before 3-5 years, I think.

Please keep us updated if you hear anything about when they are arriving, or where from & their names etc. Presumably they will join silverback Jitu from Blackpool?

Or you can post any news in 'Lowland Gorillas in Europe' thread.

Many thanks.
