The three hippos 1.1.1. from the old Jardin zoologico de Valencia (clossed) are in Bioparc at the end!
They have begun its period of adaptation and they can to be seen by public in the next months sharing enclosure with African fish and Nile´s crocodiles.

wow the bio park really does seam to love mixing odd species! have crocs and ippo been mixed ant where before?

I've just been to the Bioparc and the Hamlyn's were not mixed in with the gorillas. They are in adjacent enclosures so I can't discount that it happens.

The equatorial zone contained the following mixed exhibits on the day of my visit:

Gorillas, sitatungas, white-naped mangabey, de Brazza.
Hamlyn's monkeys, white-naped mangabey.
Drill (1.3), sitatunga(1.1.1), de Brazza (1), talapoins, pygmy hippo (2).
Congo buffalo(1.1), red river hog, pelicans.

Hippos were not on display.
