Besides the annual report, has Chester publicly acknowledged that they hold aye-ayes?

It has been openly mentioned in members talks, which in theory are open to the public, so this info is in the public domain. However, I'm not aware this information has been published anywhere until the report was posted online.

Am sure the zoo want to keep it quiet until the exhibit is fully completed and the animals settled in, then they can do a big marketing launch (unless they follow the Islands marketing model!!!??)

I believe that there arrival wasn't suppose to have been mentioned at any members talks, but now that the person that did mention it has now retired it will not happen again!

Has anyone received their print copy of the Annual Report yet ? I have not received mine .

I noticed in the Mammal Inventory that one of the female Bornean orangs died in 2014 . Which one was this ? Also a litter of 4 giant otters were born but did not survive , presumably the pair mated before the death of the male .

Not had mine Bele, I was told on 12 July that it was almost ready. Obviously it was not.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what is the story around the goliath frog that is listed in the Amphibian section? Was it deliberately imported by the zoo, or did it come to the zoo by some other means (a confiscation etc.)?

I don't know myself, but that's my question for the AGM on Tuesday. Seems odd if deliberate to only bring in the one.

I do not know but my guess is that it was a customs seizure.
