I may be posting this thread at nearly 4am but my mind has gone completely blank...Can anyone tell me where the following species are located at the zoo or if they are off-show!

    Tail-less Tenrec
    Yellow-backed Chattering Lory
    Southern ground hornbill
    Black hornbill
    Von der Decken's hornbill

Forgive me if these animals are no longer in the collection i was browsing through the list on the "zootierliste" website and saw these listed!:D

    Any help would be appreciated!

Chattering Lory: I believe these are in the displays and are therefore off show for majority of the time.
Ground Hornbill: used in falconry displays so again are off show most of the time.

Other 3 species have, I believe, left the collection.

    ground hornbills

I think that the ground hornbills might be down that hill that leads towards the main road. Near the spider monkeys (medillin monkeys)

Although I'm not a Colchester regular I'm pretty certain these Avaries had been knocked, down when I visited in September last year to make way for the new Sun Bear enclosure
