From what I have seen it appears that Maya has taken over the role - she was always the obvious choice as during Sheba's time as leader she was dominant over all the females except Sheba.

Sheba`s died??????I saw her a few years ago,was in quite a poor state then compared to the other`s.Just a little warning to Anne the Elephant.......
