The first maned wolves arrived about 1982, but died soon after arriving. But funding was made and a second pair obtained, and these went on to become one of the most successful breeding pairs in the UK. Maned Wolves were kept in the enclosure that's now Marabou Mansions, and left the zoo in 1998.
The Bush Dogs arrived in the mid-90's, and two groups were kept in the former Maned Wolf enclosure and Short-Clawed Otter enclosure (now the Ocelot's) after these animals left. These animals bred once or twice in their time at the park.
The Blue Duikers were kept completely off-show in order to recieve the best breeding results.

Why would that make any difference?

What is now Marabou Mansions originally held hunting dogs while the Maned Wolves were in the dell that now holds Cheetahs. The latter later moved to the former enclosure.

The Bush Dogs never bred at the park.

Actually I one of the volunteers told me about a time when he saw recentley bush dog cubs emerge from the den. Probably didn't last long though. And when the maned wolves moved into the hunting dog pen, the hunting dogs moved to an enclosure on South Road that is now the takin paddock.

There are no more blue duikers. Probably like most departures, breeding logistics, developments, deaths, etc.

I don't recall the Hunting Dogs ever going into an enclosure on South Road. The site of the Takin Paddock was always a hoofstock pen (Okapi, Anoa, Malayan Tapir to name a few species it held) and the adjacent Lynx cages.

I learn't that the hunting dogs were kept on that site by ERIBECA39, a member on this site who is a keeper at Marwell. They moved out when the first okapi arrived.

I said just that in an earlier post. Read more carefully.

Please do not instruct me to read more carefully. I read exactly your post. What gives you the impression I didn't? There is nothing in my last statement to suggest I didn't. I merely mentioned that I didn't remember there being anything other than hoofstock and Lynx on that site.
