living links is really an off-site study area for St Andrews university, for which it has partly funded the construction, the public enclosure will feature two large mixed species enclosures and a variety of habitats, i certainly know that it will exhibit common squirrel monkeys and brown capuchin monkeys in large family groups but i don't know what the other species will be. There is a photo of it taken last month in the gallery.

[quote=Bongo;28596]There is also an exhibit for a ground dwelling Marsipial (I forgot what).

According to the latest isis listings the ground dwelling marsupials are a pair of long nosed potoroo.

Went to the Zoo today and they now have a group of 9 Gelada Baboon's.
Rainbow Landings was closed unsure why.
Both Budongo (which is due to open March 4th) and Living links are progressing well.

The serow unfortunately died of an infection leaving an original male an unrelated female that was born at the zoo.

The last three stump-tailed were euthanised after suffering from cancer as far as i know!

Re: lion tailed macaque, belfast got the last animal a male called mahatma about 1 1/2yr ago! he has since sired 5 young here though 3 dns.

The kulan i think are going to go to the wildlife park but cant be 100%
