hello, i have just found out that a young male elephant died at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park last week - only a year or so old. It says that the calf died from "Elephant endotheliotropic herpes virus". And the world famous "Echo" who stared in her own small series has died at the age of 64 from natural causes at the Amboseli National Park. thanks josh.
