The warty pigs are still too young. I don't know anything about the gazelles, looks like they are not coming after all.

That reminds me, have the plans for persian goitered gazelles been scrapped like the addax ones?
Not sure about the Gazelles status but i think they are on hold but it might not be Persian Goitered, that arrive as i`ve heard at least 3 species mentioned to me by various members of staff.

BBC NEWS | England | Merseyside | Zoo welcomes second baby giraffe

This should sort out our earlier confusion!

Can you divulge which species have been tabled for the Asian ungulate exhibit?

Not sure if anything is going in the Asian Steppe other than whats in their at the moment, although i believe the zoo is getting 1.1 Bactrian Camels to add in to it.

Great about the camels. Will the male camel and male onager be allowed to share the same paddock though since in other zoos they are extremly aggresive.

zoogiraffe seems to indicate that the camels are going in with the rhinos. I don't think a male camel and a male onager would be kept in the same enclosure.

They sort of have there own seperate enclosures anyway, but it would be nice to see a couple more species in that area because it can look quite empty at the moment. The addition of the other two camels might make it feel more full

Just a thought about the cheetah enclosure, on the new map, there is a large white building in the bottom corner closest to the pathway.

Am I right in assuming that this will be a viewing 'dome' of sorts?

No the camels are staying where they are if they were moving to the be with the Rhinos i would have said they were going on the Asian Plains exhibit, the place where they are now is the Asian Steppe.

Yes i did think it would be strange for them to go on the asian plains.

just a quick question, whats happening with the blackbuck and brow antlered deer, are they styaing there or are they leaving for a new enclosure or just leaving the collection all together. Cant say i care too much about the balckbuck but i think it would be a shame if the deer left.
