Does the new guide book have any of the future plans for the zoo?

Nothing about the superzoo, just information about the new exhibits this year (cheetah, crocodile, aviary, butterfly house).

In the current economic climate, massive developments at zoos may need to be frozen for a while. Zoos will start to feel the pinch if people have less money to spend on entertainment. I sometimes feel sorry for families when they visit a zoo- they can't see much change out of £100 or so, what with admission, food & drink and the souvenir shop at the end.

The rhino paddock nearest to when you enter the zoo is Rosie's, well it was this time last year, and I can't see them swapping Rosie and Quinto round. Quinto's paddock is the one nearest to Tsavo 1 (furthest away as you enter the zoo)

Does that mean they are no longer going to move her into the other house?

I was there on friday and I'm sure the sign in the house said thorn, faye, kelly and molly. they didn't have a sign for margaret yet but she was there and obvious from the rest. samara i think is the one that recently left the collection to go to, blair drummond was it? But thinking about it the zoo said margaret is the 1st female rothschild they've had born so molly can't have been born at chester, i think she was born in 2004 though, she looked smaller than the other 2 females but not as small as margaret, unless i'm confused :s

I'm sure molly has been there for a while though (there are drawings of a giraffe called molly for sale in the shop and they have been there for a while, also her picture on the sign is at a young age) Wasn't the calf that DNS called niamh or naomi or something beginning with N?

Unless they are off show it would appear not, maybe they are due to arrive shortly, or maybe they are waiting until they have built there new african plains exhibit on the site of the zebra now, then move in more animals. My knowledge is limited so best to ask a keeper. Do you know where molly was born? if Chester say their 1st female rothschild was margaret, unless molly is a hybrid as well?
