According to ISIS Dudley now have 3.2 Bornean orangs including a birth which I assume if a male - excellent news if this is the case .

It lists a birth 'within last 12 months' but I'd say it is very recent and almost certainly Jorong(ex Dublin) x Jaz, rather than to the older pair of Azimat x Benjamin.

If correct it is the first Orangutan birth at Dudley since Jaz(Joe x Azimat) was born there herself, about 12-15 years ago.

No mention on Dudley's website however.

news update :

Sad news the baby has recently died more details coming soon .... the mother was Jazz
