Good advice! I'm keen to visit Crocodile Swamp but if there's a chance that the pythons might escape, maybe it'll be better to wait a few days

A female Hartmann's Mountain zebra arrived from Germany today.
Apparently when the new male Allen's Swamp Monkey was let outside, he sat on the electric fence, unaffected, (but maybe with his hair standing on end?!) and that's why he's not been outside again.

Maybe they need to turn the voltage up a bit- he only needs a decent shock once or twice and he shouldn't go near it again. I don't want to hear he has to live indoors permanently because of this...

Hopefully it'll be one of the things that get sorted out now that Crocodile Swamp is open.

Yes, 1.2, but I did hear that there were 2 new females on the way. I'll try to find out.

Allen's Swamp Monkey one of the original females died so they have 1.2 now. They are trying to encourage the male and new female to go outside again but he's been reluctant.
Damisi still here - no news.

Damisi is being crate trained again. He could be going to Chessington in 2 weeks - but nobody's holding their breath.

I think Bongorob was saying that there was no evidence of American Bison. I'm sure Pertinax posted earlier that they had definately kept Wisent (aka European Bison).

Yay! I thought it must happen now. Just out of interest, do you know which day he actually moved?
