Koalas, never. I have the book The Animals of FLamingo Land. It lists all the species kept in 1976.

See attachments.

Flamingo Park / Flamingoland has held a staggering list of species over the years. At its opening, until the late seventies when it was sold, it acted rather as a holding facility for Ravensden stock.

Several elephant seals were brought over by Associated Pleasure Parks from the falklands. One that was dead upon arrival was hastily ferried up to Loch Ness where someone subsequently 'discovered' Nessy's carcass washed up.

One of the seals went to Cleethorpes and, if I remember correctly, Dudley too.

Yes, they kept elephants, there's a photo of the exhibit in my gallery.

I remember in the old elephant house at Chester there was a sign saying they had some elephants that had come from flamingo land- I can't remember which, but you are probably right.
