    Hi All,

Me and my wife are currently touring UK zoo's, and trying to take part in as many animal experiences as we can, all of which is being filmed and being published on my Youtube channel (Under Paul Syme). So far we have visited 13 zoo's and we have Yorkshire Wildlife Park booked in July to feed the Polar Bears. Where else do you guys recommend next?

Our first stop was Linton Zoo on a cold January morning, link to the video is below:

Flamingo land is very expensive but they offer several experiences at a decent price, but it is just ABCs there.

Tropical World is worth a visit, it only takes a couple of hours but very nice, you could do that in the morning and Lotherton Hall bird garden in the afternoon.

If you have time/ money Hardwood house bird garden has a nice collection.

I can't remember the Deep so well, but I think it is good for more obscure fish and isn't just like SeaLife or Blue Reef.

That's all in my part of the country :)

Are you going to write reviews on here, because people on here will be very interested.

    Thanks for the info! :)

There's a couple of places there I haven't heard of so I'll check them out and add to our ever-growing list! I have written small write-ups on each video on my Youtube videos, but am happy to write more extensive reviews if people are interested. What sort of things are you looking for in a review?

A bit about which zoo you visit, the good and bad bits, a bit of a walk-through about it etc. And I enjoyed the Linton video (although I did not think strongly about the music choice :D).

Thanks for looking, everyone has their own musical tastes :) I'm trying to keep away from the obvious tunes (jungle book etc) and go with songs that are bit more obscure that have an upbeat tempo to go with the videos.

Will start writing up reviews and will post them soon :)

Paul, I watched the first vid out of curiosity, and I've I've just sat through them all. They are very very well done, a great watch.

Its going to be an epic series to work your way around the country, your wristband stack will be a big one by the end.

    Good luck :)

Thanks NigeW, I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. I am currently working on zoo video number 9 - Dudley Zoo and I hope to have this complete soon. I am on holiday next week but as soon as I'm back in the country I will start to write reviews for each zoo and add the link to each video.

It's good to me so many like minded people :)

I enjoyed your videos but was quite shocked that linton zoo brought a bearded dragon OUTSIDE for a meet and greet on the 4th of January. Couldn't have been too good for the thing.

The meet and greet was still inside the reptile house so wasn't cold in there. Glad you're enjoying the videos, will have more to come soon :)

I'm off on holiday tomorrow but will be back in a week, and am looking to start writing my reviews of the zoo's me and my wife have visited. Being new to this forum am I best just to start a new thread each time or is there somewhere else should be posting?

Glad to hear that's the case, I did wonder when I saw the keeper in a t-shirt however I have seen plenty of keepers in shorts in the snow! So wouldn't have surprised me!

First review has been submitted on the UK forums, apologies if it isn't great, it's been 4 months since we visited the zoo. I will carry this on if people enjoy them. In the meantime, I best finish video number 9 - Dudley Zoo :)
