CST's elephants were deffinately asian, I saw them quite a few times when I was younger, if I remeber rightly they were kept outside the park in a big field, and returned to their enclosure opposite the fairground, which was a terrible, out of date concrete yard.

Correct. They had a bull too, which had to be put down as he was virtually unmanageable and they could not find anywhere else that would take him...

Funny how it all became a problem just as Noel Edmonds bought in to the place to set up the Crinkley Bottom Theme Park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was a bad period in their history. Fortunately it was very short- lived though.
