The fact it has never been re-advertised may suggest it has been sold, although i thought it was a little pricey considering there is no accomodation on site.

On a similar subject anybody have any idea which collection this could be?

Is the collection zoogiraffe on about in Cumbria?
If so, then I think that the link Marcellus posted is the same place.

Sorry Ashley but i have to concur with Zoogiraffe on three points...
1. Cumbria is to the West
2. Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is not situated on the coast anyway
3. Lakeland Wildlife Oasis was for sale as a freehold property , the place advertised in my link is leasehold....

So does anyones have any ideas as to which collection it is?

Could it be the Jungle Zoo at Cleethorpes?

Not sold yet

Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is still on the market and it hasn't been sold yet when I approached the owner. He said not much about it! I think the asking price is too high even though no accommodation!

I would think Lakeland and our mysterious East coast collection would have a lot of difficulty selling in the current climate. Let's face it is difficult to sell a house. All of the zoos and farm parks that I have talked to in the last week have found their crowds to be significantly down due to the poor summer. Given the poor return on your investment, we may see even more private collections on the market in the next year.

How about perhaps Dartmoor or Tenby or Mole Hall (if still open) or Exmoor or Combe Martin?

Its the smallest ones that suffer the most.
