An excellent day. I have just been reviewing my photos - I have some that I hope to post within the next few days - and rather more that I cannot publish, but which will enrich my personal collection.
My thanks to the organisers of course.

Alan

outside unavoidable pressures will always result in unwanted but necessary withdrawal from any event - it's an overused phrase but I was gutted to miss out :O(

An obsession of Zoochatters - how wonderfully appropriate

As usual, you Chester people leave the rest of us green with envy. However, thanks to the generosity of my family, I am having an Ape Experience Day in September - part of Paignton's EAZA Ape Campaign - so I won't feel so deprived

I can't add anything to what has already been said. A thoroughly enjoyable day, and excellent work by SMR again.

Well I must admit, I didn't manage to spot the lesser spotted zoo chatter. We were in and over by the APG's at 10.

Well how easy is it to see a group of zoo chatters that are all stood with cameras...? I mean i do not think i have ever seen any group at the zoo without a camera... I dont go anywhere without mine... even shopping now..! There are just odd moments you have to catch on camera!

Better luck next time!

We were in and gone straight away. Well given the number of people carrying DSLR's in Chester it's not as easy as you would think, we even went past the Fountain Shop around lunch time.

Failed in our search, I bet none of you saw us though. Hope you guys all had a great time, from the few posts i've read it seems to have been a great day.
