An 18 year old male common seal at the St Andrews aquarium, was swept from his seaside enclosure during violent storms on the Fife coast, on the night of 30/3/10. The major concern for the staff is this animals suitability to life in his new found freedom, having been born and kept in captivity his whole life. Members of the public have been asked to keep an eye out for him.
