No, I imagine they will get a female eventually, either replacing one male so they still house two animals, or even three if they still hold two males. I imagine by then the new planned enclosure will be built though.

Thats right Pertinax, the house will not be built until a female can be sourced first, and as the males are not yet mature, plenty of time

Flatterer! You're embarrassing me

I feel guilty that I haven't got round to doing them yet. But I have just started working up a couple of L*H*G* shots and there's the L*M*C* too (not to mention a C* and an A*A* that I hope you'll like). I'd been once in August, then I went on a boat trip to the Bass Rock, but bad weather made the skipper turn back - so I had a free day at Edinburgh with all my camera gear. It was a no-brainer, as they say.

Rhinos at Edinburgh
Old 09-11-2008

We were at the zoo in September, and in the top rhino paddock, there looked to be a travel crate at the entrance to the rhino house. Are there any moving plans?

The travel crate has always been there, no plans to move any of the males at the moment
