Nope he came from Flamingo Land a few years back. He was quite elderly at the time of his arrival and he died a few years a go. He was replaced by a stallion called Julian and Longleat have just bought in a new male called Guiness from Ireland. I don't know what happend to Julian I assume he died or moved on.
Sorry I only know about Guiness through Zoochat. It's funny you should be asking all about Longleat the week I am going. not sure if they are still there but they used to have three girls, katie, stephanie and Ingrid. Ingrid was quite elderly however and was loosing fur. More of a spotty zebra than a stripy one.
Current zebra at Longleat are.... Saga (f)-Born in 2000. Came to Longleat from a zoo in Sweden in 2009. Jinga (f)-Born in July 2000 at Longleat. Stephanie (f)-Born in June 1993 at Longleat. Guinness (m) -Came to Longleat from a collection in Ireland in January 2009.
