editing and non-editing
Old 05-01-2008

hi,

just a general wondering...why do some threads allow editing and others appear not to have an edit option (unless its just my technical incompetence, which wouldn't surprise me at all!). Is there a criteria for which are to remain permanent and which not?

Are you referring to the Edit button on your posts ? You are only allowed to edit your posts for the first 48 hours after you post - then the edit button disappears.

If you need something edited after that, use the "report this post" feature to request a moderator make the change.
